Background
由2020年開始，眾多香港人因著種種原因移居英國雷丁，努力地建立新生活，既要適應新環境，亦要融入本土社區，衍生壓力。故此一班雷丁香港人於2022年3月正式註冊為社區組織（Community Interest Company CIC/Company No.14005055），名為「雷丁香港人」，服務宗旨是支援在雷丁生活的香港人，希望為雷丁社區帶來新的動力，亦傳承香港文化，讓其他種族人士認識，以建構一個多元性和互相尊重的社區。
Since 2020, owing to various reasons, many Hongkongers have fled to Reading, UK. Many of them are stressed by the need to lead a new life and get integrated into the local community. Therefore, a group of Hong Kong people in Reading was officially registered as a community organization (Community Interest Company CIC/Company No.14005055) in March 2022, which was called “Hong Kong people in Reading”. The CIC endeavors to support Hongkongers living in Reading, bring new impetus to the Hongkongers’ community there, inherit Hong Kong culture, and to let people of other races know each other, so as to build a community of diversity and mutual respect.

Silver Tung
Born and raised in British Hong Kong, moved to UK to start a new life in 2020 after the sad experiences in 2014 and 2019.
Although the decision is determined, there was still confusion about the future in the early days. It was gradually settled down later after met many locals and newly immigrated Hongkongers. Therefore, hope to help other Hongkongers who have just arrived the UK to integrate the new life in here.
英屬香港土生土長，經過2014及2019年的傷心經歷後，2020年決定到英國開展新生活。
雖然有決心過新生活，但到埗初期對未來仍有迷惘，及後認識到好多本地同新移居英國嘅香港人後慢慢安穩落嚟。所以希望以過來人身份去幫助剛到英國嘅香港人去適應新生活。
Hailey Yuen
Born in British Hong Kong, deeply influenced by primary school motto “When you know the truth, the truth will set you free”, she has been keen on finding the truth since childhood. The consciousness of liberty and democracy sparked when she was studying in the United States realising that despite not being a perfect utopian system, liberty and democracy form the foundation of respect. In October 2020, she was brought to the United Kingdom by her cats.
生於英屬香港，深受小學教訓「爾識真理 真理識爾」影響，從小就有一顆尋找真理嘅心。 對自由民主嘅意識啟蒙於美國求學時期，見識到自由雖然唔係完美亦唔係烏托邦，卻係尊重嘅根本。2020年10月由五隻貓主子帶到嚟英國生活。
Stephen Yeong
Born in British Hong Kong, although he was not rich in childhood, he felt that life was simple and free. After working hard for more than ten years in the rapidly growing Hong Kong, he thought his life was on track. But after the umbrella revolution in 2014, he discovered that the future was not as he expected. The next few years he went through the ups and downs of freedom in Hong Kong, and until the 831 incident in 2019, he decided to leave Hong Kong and started living in UK on November 2020.
生於英屬香港，童年雖然不富有但感到生活簡單又自由。在急速增長的香港埋頭苦幹十數載，自以為生活上了軌道。但2014年一場雨傘革命後才發現將來不似預期。接下來的幾年經歷了香港自由的高低起伏，直到2019年831決定離開香港，並於次年2020年11月到英國生活。
